George Michael Collection, Christie’s, 2019

In March 2019 Christie’s hosted The George Michael Collection: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for collectors, art lovers and legions of fans to see his private collection, and bid on works across a live and online auction. Philanthropic work was hugely important for George Michael during his lifetime and it was his wish that this work would continue after his passing.

The painting below was commissioned by George Michael and Kenny Goss in 2006 and exhibited at the Goss Gallery, Dallas and then became part of their private collection.
